Ange Cédrick Kayigire

At the intersection of data, basketball, and human connection, I look for what helps a team grow and turns an idea into a real project.

A Université Laval graduate, I work in data science and artificial intelligence, build practical technology projects, and founded EinSum Labs .

Sources of inspiration

Inspirations that become guiding principles

From Chris Paul to the Artemis II crew, four stories that shaped how I prepare, tell stories, and explore.

Chris Paul at the 2022 NBA All-Star Weekend
Since high school

Chris Paul

Chris Paul has inspired me since high school. His 2011 playoff series against Kobe Bryant’s Lakers, followed by the Lob City era, showed me how court vision, leadership, and consistency can elevate an entire team.

Since university

Kobe Bryant

Kobe taught me to trust repetition, care about every detail, and pursue my best self. For him, confidence was built before the challenge through disciplined preparation.

After his playing career, his life as a father, creator, and mentor deepened my admiration. His influence reaches far beyond basketball and will continue to resonate across generations.

Bill Simmons at the 2011 Peabody Awards
Since 2020

Bill Simmons

In 2020, I listened to The Ringer at the Xacte office. Bill Simmons’s path from ESPN to his own media ecosystem showed me how storytelling, analysis, and community can reinforce one another.

The four members of the Artemis II crew
2026 · Exploration

The Artemis II crew

I followed Artemis II from launch to return. I expected a highly formal crew. Instead, I saw four astronauts in awe of living a childhood dream. Their scientific curiosity and joy reflect my own drive to keep learning.

Basketball and Sports Statistics

  • Former college basketball player in Quebec.
  • Approximately ten years of experience recording statistics at RSEQ, Cégep de Sainte-Foy and Rouge et Or games, as well as collecting and analyzing statistics at sporting events.
  • This experience informs my interest in sports analytics and technology for sports, including the development of Sports Lab.

Mentorship and giving back
